The Mega Man X Legacy Collection (MMXLC) is a pair of Compilation Rereleases of most of the Mega Man X games. It was released by Capcom in 2018 as part of a celebration of 30 years of Mega Man.

Aside from releasing old content, the collection adds a new game type, the "X Challenge" mode. This adds a Boss Rush, where the player must face two bosses at the same time.

The collection also contains the Original Video Animation The Day of Σ. Notable omissions from the collection include Mega Man Xtreme, Mega Man Xtreme 2, and Mega Man X Command Mission. Mega Man X DiVE was released following this compilation, and is thus not included.

  • Multi-Platform: Released across a number of consoles, as well as for Microsoft Windows.
  • One Game for the Price of Two: The compilation is split across two titles. The previous compilation, Mega Man X Collection was a single release.
  • Product Placement: Various pieces of Mega Man X merchandise and toys can be viewed in the Product gallery menu. While much of it was quite old by the time of release, some items were released shortly before the compilation.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: The Reploids have red eyes in the opening to "X Challenge".
  • Sound Test: A music player is included.
  • Spoiled by the Format: The game warns of this directly when starting the "X Challenge" mode, stating that playing it may reveal spoilers.
  • Timed Mission: The fights in "X Challenge" are on a timer.
