Mega Man X4

Mega Man X4 is the fourth entry in the Mega Man X series of platforming games, following Mega Man X3.
The game allows the player to choose between either Mega Man X or Zero. The game starts with the player character being called to respond to an attack on Sky Lagoon by Repliforce. The scene is chaotic, and a Repliforce member named Colonel denies the attack was by them, yet also refuses to yield to Maverick Hunter authority or put down his weapons. Shortly afterwords the Repliforce set out to establish their own nation, with the player character opposing this action.
It was first released by Capcom around the 1997 for the original PlayStation as well as for the Sega Saturn. It was later rereleased for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PlayStation 4 as part of the Mega Man X Legacy Collection. The rerelease has a webpage on the Capcom website here.
