Synopsis
The antihero in red himself has been discharged from the hospital and is back on his feet. But he has one goal in mind: REVENGE, against the Moretti sisters. Reagan mainly, for causing his accident. But this time, oh this time... he wants to take care of them HIMSELF. Will he succeed in eliminating the sisters in pitch black?
Tropes in Keter's Retribution include:
- Best Served Cold: This is what Keter ultimately chooses to do in the end after putting up quite a good fight against Reagan. By sparing Reagan and warning her instead, Keter intentionally delays her punishment, choosing psychological warfare over immediate execution.
- The Bus Came Back: Kingston Moretti from episode 39 of The Reapers Series makes his return at the end of the episode in East Cherryville.
- Call Back: The No Bullshit News report talks about the brutal attack orchestrated by Reagan in Far from Over.
- Pay Evil Unto Evil: Subverted. Keter Evans gives Reagan Moretti quite a brutal beating, but ultimately decides to allow her to live another day, but warns her that he, along with his group will put an end to her and Jade Moretti once and for all.
- Rage Breaking Point: Keter calmly threatens Reagan Moretti before raising his voice, declaring his Revenge on both her and Jade.
- Revenge: The very point of this episode centers on this trope. Keter Evans moves beyond survival and anger to a calculated, patient vengeance against Reagan Moretti and her sister for what they did to him in the previous episode, showcasing slow-burning payback.
- Tranquil Fury: Keter Evans calmly tells Reagan Moretti that she's not getting away with destroying his $35,000 motorcycle. This gets subverted afterwards. See Rage Breaking Point.
