Balzan (Maltese: Ħal Balzan) is a municipality in the Northern Region of Malta, and together with Attard and Lija, forms part of the "Three Villages" (Maltese: It-Tliet Irħula). The village originally consisted of a group of small dwellings and farms but eventually grew, becoming a parish in the 17th century. As of 2022, the town registered a population of 4,821 inhabitants.
