The 1984 Ohio State Buckeyes football team represented the Ohio State University in the 1984 Big Ten Conference football season. Led by sixth-year head coach Earle Bruce, the Buckeyes compiled an overall record of 9–3 with a mark of 7–2 in conference play, winning the Big Ten title. Ohio State earned a berth in the Rose Bowl, where the Buckeyes lost to USC. The team played home games at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
