Fry's sister
Fry's sister was briefly mentioned in the storyboard for "Space Pilot 3000". Nothing is known about her, except that she had some sort of relationship with a man named Eddie Farnsworth; upon hearing the Professor's name, Fry states that his sister must have finally married him. After Fry finds out that Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth was his great nephew, he presumed that Farnsworth must be descended from them.

- While the unnamed sister was cut from the series altogether, the idea of Fry having a sibling was resurrected later on in the form of an older brother Yancy Fry Jr.. Yancy is the Fry who became Farnsworth's ancestor.
