Eddie Farnsworth
Eddie Farnsworth was briefly mentioned in the storyboard for "Space Pilot 3000" as the ancestor of Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth. Nothing is known about Eddie, except that he had some sort of relationship with Fry's sister; upon hearing the Professor's name, Fry states that his sister must have finally married Eddie.

- Eddie Farnsworth was cut from the final episode. Professor Farnsworth's family connection to Fry was later changed from Fry's sister to his brother, Yancy Fry, Jr. (3ACV04), and the origin of his name came from the families of David Farnsworth and Philo Farnsworth (6ACV23).
