Dick Clark
Richard Wagstaff "Dick" Clark was an American television host and presenter who voiced his own head in a jar in "Space Pilot 3000". He was best known as the long-running host of American Bandstand from 1956 to 1989, Pyramid from 1973 to 1988, and Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve from 1972 through 2004. In 2004, he suffered a stroke and relinquished his sole hosting duties for DCNYRE, becoming co-host with now-executive producer Ryan Seacrest. Until he fell ill, Clark was commonly known as "America's Oldest Teenager" due to his youthful demeanor and energy. Clark died on 18 April, 2012.
