Description

The western rotary gun comes on a base with two wheel on either side of the gun and a rear stand, a handle can be installed on top to carry it, and has a crank on the right side which is rotated to fire. Wielding a rotary gun reduces the user's movement speed to half. A rotary gun is loaded with a magazine of 200 heavy bullets, allowing it to fire the 200 times without reloading. A magazine is included in the purchase of a rotary gun. Every attack roll fires 8 heavy bullets. Damage is done per attack roll, and not per bullet. Attacking as a standard action will fire 24 bullets (3 attack rolls). A full attack can be made to fire 40 bullets (5 attack rolls). Reloading a rotary gun reloading the magazine with 200 heavy bullets, takes a full-round action, and provokes attacks of opportunity.

A mounted rotary gun can be fired, but not aimed, with one hand with no penalties. Setting down and picking up a rotary gun is a standard action.

A carried western rotary gun must be operated with two hands, as the gun must be supported by the handle and the crank needs to be turned.
