Allegiance (fanfic)

A crossover of Danny Phantom and Harry Potter by SladeStryke that basically turns the Harry Potter world on its head. Alliances are switched. This was written before the writer had read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

The idea is this: When Dumbledore fought Grindelwald, the latter used a complex bit of dark magic to steal the former's identity and leave him as a feeble powered ghost(Consistent with the Danny Phantom universe. Manipulative Grindelwald has been leading people to believe he is Dumbledore (effectively a Dark!Dumbledore who is challenged by the young abused orphan boy Tom Riddle Jr. Later on, upon his entry into Hogwarts, Tom's realizations about Dumbledore shock him into vowing to destroy this evil influence in the wizarding world.

Grindelwald uses his mad charisma points to convince people that Tom is the evil one and he makes up the whole Voldemort thing.

Got that? Okay, now we add Danny Phantom in.

Lily and James Potter find out when they join the Order, to their dismay, that Dumbledore was evil all along. However, Dumbledore can't allow this; he has big plans for Harry. Lily and James are attacked somehow, and Harry is convinced they're dead. On the other hand, Lily and James are convinced Harry is dead as well.

The story starts with Harry's aunt and uncle getting assigned two PSi's, an anthropomorphic race with individual powers and selective aging, who are victims of serious Fantastic Racism.

The Story picks up with Vald and Snape along with Harry's twelve year old younger brother Danny.
