Zavetinsky District (Russian: Заве́тинский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the forty-three in Rostov Oblast, Russia. The area of the district is 3,000 square kilometers (1,200 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Zavetnoye. Population: 17,250 (2010 Census); 18,508 (2002 Census); 18,638 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Zavetnoye accounts for 41.0% of the district's total population.
