Zakharovsky District (Russian: Заха́ровский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-five in Ryazan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 985.9 square kilometers (380.7 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Zakharovo. Population: 9,136 (2010 Census); 10,607 (2002 Census); 11,205 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Zakharovo accounts for 30.0% of the district's total population.
