Yuri Pimenov (Russian: Юрий Иванович Пименов; November 13, 1903, Moscow – September 6, 1977, there) was a Soviet Russian artist painter, graphic artist, set designer, poster artist, teacher. An academician of the Academy of Arts of the Soviet Union (1962; Corresponding Member 1954), he held the title People's Artist of the USSR (1970) and was a laureate of two Stalin Prizes of the second degree (1947, 1950) and the Lenin Prize (1967).
