Wunstorf Air Base is a German Air Force military airfield (air base), located 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) south-southwest of Neustadt am Rübenberge and 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) north-northwest of Wunstorf in Lower Saxony, Germany. Wunstorf Air Base is the home to Air Transport Wing 62 (Lufttransportgeschwader 62), a unit operating all German Airbus A400M Atlas.
