It is owned by Nexstar Media Group alongside Florence-licensed CW owned-and-operated station WHDF (channel 15). The two stations share studios on Holmes Avenue Northwest in downtown Huntsville; WHNT-TV's transmitter is located on Monte Sano Mountain.
