Ust-Donetsky District (Russian: Усть-Доне́цкий райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the forty-three in Rostov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,150 square kilometers (440 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Ust-Donetsky. Population: 33,647 (2010 Census); 32,479 (2002 Census); 30,374 (1989 Soviet census). The population of the administrative center accounts for 35.1% of the district's total population.
