The Unlawful Societies Act 1799 (39 Geo. 3. c. 79) was an act of the Parliament of Great Britain passed in 1799, as part of measures by Pitt the Younger to suppress republican opposition. It is also sometimes referred to as the Corresponding Societies Act or Seditious Societies Act.
