Uglichsky District (Russian: У́гличский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the seventeen in Yaroslavl Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,568 square kilometers (992 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Uglich (which is not administratively a part of the district). Population: 13,255 (2010 Census); 15,540 (2002 Census); 18,069 (1989 Soviet census).
