The Way Home is a fantasy drama television series created by Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke, and Marly Reed. It premiered on January 15, 2023.
The series' second season premiered on January 21, 2024. On March 20, 2024, Hallmark Channel renewed the series for a third season.
In November 2024, it was announced that season 3 would instead premiere on the streaming service Hallmark+ beginning January 2, 2025, and airing in sometime in the fourth quarter on Hallmark Channel; however, following negative feedback from viewers, Hallmark reversed their decision to air season 3 on the Hallmark Channel later in 2025. The season premiered on January 3, 2025, on the Hallmark Channel and then on Hallmark+ the next day as a result.
