The Syrian Special Mission Forces (Arabic: وحدة المهام الخاصة) was a quick reaction force of the Ministry of Interior of Ba'athist Syria. They were tasked with defending against attacks on government-controlled parts of Aleppo and Damascus, and other urban settings.
