Snowbird (Narya) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by John Byrne and Chris Claremont, the character first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #120 (April 1979). Snowbird is an Inuk demigoddess, being the daughter of a human and Nelvanna, the Inuk goddess of the Northern Skies. She has been depicted as a member of the Canadian superhero team Alpha Flight.
