Shanghai-style salad (Chinese: 上海色拉; pinyin: shàng hǎi sè lā; Wade–Giles: shang4-hai3-se4-la1) is a traditional appetizer in Haipai cuisine. Generally considered a localized dish derived from the Olivier salad, it originated from Western cuisine but was modified according to the customary taste of Shanghai people.
