Resistance: Burning Skies is a 2012 first-person shooter video game developed by Nihilistic Software and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation Vita. It is a spin-off and the most recent installment of the Resistance series. In the game, players control the character of Tom Riley, a firefighter who fights against an enemy called the Chimera during their invasion of the United States.
