Ratingen (German pronunciation: [ˈʁaːtɪŋən] ⓘ; Limburgish: Rotinge) is a town in the district of Mettmann in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It lies in the northwestern part of Berg about 12 km northeast of Düsseldorf.
