The racket-tipped thorntail, formerly called racket-tailed coquette, (Discosura longicaudus) is a species of hummingbird in subfamily lesbiinae of family Trochilidae. It is found in Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela.
