Putyatinsky District (Russian: Путя́тинский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-five in Ryazan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeastern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,008 square kilometers (389 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Putyatino. Population: 7,511 (2010 Census); 8,745 (2002 Census); 10,398 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Putyatino accounts for 40.6% of the district's total population.
