Pindikuthi Perunnal is the Saint Thomas Christian counterpart of Denha (Baptism of Jesus) in Eastern church and Epiphany in Western Church. The liturgical season Denha Kaalam (Epiphany season) begins with the Sunday nearest to Pindikuthi Perunnal.
