Pierre Sylvain Régis (French pronunciation: [pjɛʁ silvɛ̃ ʁeʒis]; 1632–1707) was a French Cartesian philosopher and a prominent critic of Spinoza. Known as a philosopher, he was nominated to the French Academy of Sciences in 1699.
