Phu Dorjee

Not to be confused with Phu Dorjee Sherpa (1928–1969), the first Nepali mountaineer who climbed Mount Everest.

Phu Dorjee (1948/1949–1987) (also spelled Phu Dorji), born in Sikkim, was a Sherpa and the first Indian to make a solo ascent of Mount Everest.
