Philip Hamburger is an American legal scholar in the fields of constitutional law and legal history. He is the Maurice and Hilda Friedman Professor of Law at Columbia Law School, where he the school's Center for Law and Liberty in 2014. He founded the New Civil Liberties Alliance in 2017 and serves as the CEO.
