Peschanokopsky District (Russian: Песчаноко́пский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the forty-three in Rostov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,885 square kilometers (728 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Peschanokopskoye. Population: 31,619 (2010 Census); 34,171 (2002 Census); 34,367 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Peschanokopskoye accounts for 33.5% of the district's total population.
