Periasamy Kumaran

Periasamy Kumaran (born 23 January 1969), also known as P. Kumaran, is an Indian diplomat who has served as India's High Commissioner to Singapore and Ambassador to Qatar. He is currently the Secretary (East) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, replacing Jaideep Mazumdar. He took over his current charge as Secretary (East) on 1st April 2025.
