Pefko (Greek: Πεύκο meaning "pine tree", before 1958: Μπάλα - Bala) is a small, scenic village in the municipal unit of Oichalia, Messenia, Greece. It is situated in the northwestern foothills of the Taygetus Mountains, between Sparta and Kalamata.
