The Russian Orthodox Church in the USA is the name of the group of parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church in America that are under the canonical authority of the Patriarch of Moscow and all Rus'. They were previously known as the Russian Exarchate of North America before autocephaly was granted to the Orthodox Church in America (OCA) in 1970. According to the US Religion Census of 2010, there were 12,377 congregants, but only 1900 regularly attended. There are 31 parishes and 2 monastic communities.
