Orichevsky District (Russian: Оричевский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-nine in Kirov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,352 square kilometers (908 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Orichi. Population: 30,781 (2010 Census); 32,764 (2002 Census); 36,425 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Orichi accounts for 25.9% of the district's total population.
