Novy Uoyan (Russian: Но́вый Уоя́н; Buryat: Шэнэ Уоян, romanized: Shene Uoian) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Severo-Baykalsky District of the Republic of Buryatia, Russia, located in the basin of the Upper Angara River, 550 kilometers (340 mi) from Ulan-Ude, the capital of the republic. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 3,963.
