Monoporeia affinis, (syn. Pontoporeia affinis) (Greek: Πόντος, póntos = Pontus / Black Sea; πορεία, poreía = to travel), is a small, yellowish benthic amphipod living in the Baltic Sea, the Arctic Sea and the lakes of the Nordic countries.
