Muhammed Ahmed Faris (Arabic: محمد أحمد فارس, Muḥammad ʾAḥmad Fāris; 26 May 1951 – 19 April 2024) was a Syrian military aviator and astronaut. He was the first Syrian and the second Arab in space.
