Matthew J. Walsh, C.S.C. (May 14, 1882 – January 19, 1963) was an American Catholic priest who served as president of the University of Notre Dame from 1922 to 1928, after having served as vice president from 1912 to 1922.
He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and obtained a Ph.D. from the Catholic University of America. He also attended courses at Columbia University and Johns Hopkins University.
