Lori Bettison-Varga

Lori Bettison-Varga (born c. 1962) is an American geologist and academic administrator. She is the president of the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History. Previously, she was president of Scripps College, and held positions at Pomona College, the College of Wooster, and Whitman College.

She earned her PhD from UC Davis, in 2022, Bettison-Varga was honored as an American Association for the Advancement of Science fellow and in 2025 was named to the American Alliance of Museums' board.
