Livensky District (Russian: Ли́венский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Oryol Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,806.3 square kilometers (697.4 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Livny (which is not administratively a part of the district). Population: 32,791 (2010 Census); 34,200 (2002 Census); 34,503 (1989 Soviet census).
