Napalm Death are an English grindcore band, founded by Nic Bullen (vocals, bass, guitar) and Miles Ratledge (drums) in May 1981 when the two were 12/13 years old. The band currently consists of bassist Shane Embury (since 1987), lead vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway, guitarist Mitch Harris (both since 1989), drummer Danny Herrera (since 1991) and guitarist John Cooke (a touring member from 2015).
