Katav-Ivanovsky District (Russian: Ката́в-Ива́новский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,415 square kilometers (1,319 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Katav-Ivanovsk. Population (excluding the administrative center): 15,327 (2010 Census); 17,739 (2002 Census); 25,473 (1989 Soviet census).
