Jonathon Calvin Simmons (born September 14, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for Al Riyadi of the Lebanese Basketball League. He played one season of Division I college basketball for the University of Houston before a stint in the semi-professional American Basketball League (ABL) led to him joining the NBA D-League's Austin Toros in 2013. Following two seasons in the D-League, Simmons signed with the San Antonio Spurs after an impressive 2015 NBA Summer League.
