"Jag Ghoomeya" (transl. Toured the world) is a Punjabi song from the soundtrack of 2016 Indian film Sultan. The song is written by Irshad Kamil, composed by Vishal–Shekhar and sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. It is picturised upon Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma for the film. The song also has an audio version by Salman Khan, and a female version by Neha Bhasin picturised upon Anushka Sharma. The film tells the story of a wrestler, Sultan Ali Khan, played by Salman Khan. Sultan falls in love with Aarfa (Anushka Sharma), a strong and ambitious wrestler. However, due to his own mistakes and arrogance, he loses her. Jag Ghoomeya comes at a crucial moment in the film when Sultan realizes that no matter where he goes or what he achieves, the love he had for Aarfa was irreplaceable. It is a moment of deep regret, longing, and realization that love is beyond fame, success, or material achievements.
