Isaya Mukirania Kibanzanga I (c. 1924 – 2 September 1966) was a Ugandan teacher and political activist who led the Rwenzururu movement, a rebellion against the Tooro Kingdom and the central government of Uganda. He is revered as the founder of the Kingdom of Rwenzururu and was its first, self-proclaimed Omusinga (King), reigning from the Rwenzori Mountains from 1962 until his death in 1966.
