Ferrous tungstate (FeWO4) is an inorganic compound, a tungstate of ferrous iron. It can be synthesized from iron(III) chloride and sodium tungstate under hydrothermal conditions with the presence of L-cysteine reduces Fe3+ to Fe2+. Ferberite is composed of this compound.
