Born and raised in Mexico City, Rebaque participated in 58 Formula One Grands Prix. He founded Rebaque in 1978, entering a privateer Lotus 78 before constructing the Rebaque HR100 in collaboration with Penske, which he entered the final three Grands Prix of 1979 with.
