The song was a major success on the UK Singles Chart as it made the top 10, peaking at No. 6. In Australia, the song peaked at No. 13 in 1997, becoming the group's most successful release in the region.
The song was covered by Irish boy band Westlife in 1999, as a B-side to their debut single "Swear It Again".
