The February 17th Martyrs Brigade is a militia that was active in Libya during the first Libyan civil war and second Libyan civil war founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The name refers the 'Day of Rage' protests on February 17, 2011 against dictator Muammar Gaddafi that were met by harsh military suppression and triggered the Libyan civil war.
